Lady Dior in lambskin and patent cannage, the Saddle in its original and reissued forms, Book Tote, Bobby, Diorama and vintage Trotter canvas pieces. The Saddle in particular is one of the most searched bags we carry, and stock changes weekly.
How we authenticate Dior
Dior stamps a date code onto a leather tab inside the bag, and the format tells us the factory and production period — the first check is that it agrees with the model and material in front of us. We then examine the cannage quilting for even stitch count and symmetry panel to panel, weigh and read the D.I.O.R. charms for correct engraving and letter spacing, and check hardware plating, zip branding and interior lining. Our authentication partners support each assessment, with a final inspection at least 48 hours before shipment.
Condition, honestly graded
Lambskin cannage shows pressure marks and corner softening with wear, and patent shows transfer and surface lines. We photograph both closely and grade them plainly. Charm sets, dust bags and any accompanying documentation are listed when they are present, and their absence is stated when they are not.
